If there’s one thing you can count on in this world, it’s the Dropkick Murphys throwing the biggest party on Boston’s biggest party weekend. In uncertain times, Boston can always rely on its favorite sons to make things better—one pint, one scream, one chord, and one massive singalong at a time.

The night kicked off with an electric lineup designed to get the crowd moving. Local heroes (and former MGM Fenway employees) Rebuilder set the tone with a high-energy opening set, followed by punk stalwarts Hot Water Music, who delivered their signature blend of grit and melody.

Then came punk legends The Bouncing Souls, who had the crowd shouting every word to classics like “Hopeless Romantic” and “True Believers.” By the time the Murphys were set to take the stage, the crowd was primed for the main event.

When the lights went down and the bagpipes started wailing, the place absolutely erupted. From the first notes of "The Boys Are Back," it was game on. Ken Casey and the boys tore through a set packed with fan favorites—"Johnny, I Hardly Knew Ya" had the whole floor bouncing, "The State of Massachusetts" turned into a massive singalong, and "Worker’s Song" hit hard with its blue-collar anthem vibes. And when they ripped into "I’m Shipping Up to Boston"? Pure chaos.
Dropkick shows are never just concerts; they’re a gathering of the Boston faithful, a reminder of everything great about this city. Whether you were up front in the pit, raising a pint in the back, or belting out every word at the top of your lungs, you were part of something bigger.

As the final chords rang out and the crowd spilled into Lansdowne Street, one thing was clear—nobody throws a party like the Dropkick Murphys, and nobody does St. Patrick’s weekend like Boston.
